Girls Junior Varsity Bowling, Girls Varsity Bowling · Girls Varsity Bowling lose to Fairfield 2371-2123

The Middletown Girls Varsity Bowling team lost their 1st match of the season today against GMC rival Fairfield at the Game of Fairfield.

Senior Abi Blandford was high bowler of the day with scores of 167 & 144! Freshman Emily Cupp was only 5 pins behind her by bowling games of 166 & 140. Senior Shianne Lane is back with the team and posted a 169, while Seniors Crystal & Chelsea Kroener threw games of 158 & 156 respectively! The highlight of the Baker round was when the girls came together and bowled a very nice 211 game! However, all of this was not enough to beat a very good Fairfield team.

Our JV girls unfortunately lost their match also by a score of 1569 to 1343. High bowler for the squad was Senior Danielle Barker with 246 series and a high game of 144!

Middletown is now 3-1 in the GMC, and 7-1 overall. Next up for the Middies is Little Miami at home this Wednesday. Please come out and cheer on the teams!
