The Middletown Boys Varsity Bowling team won their 2nd match in a row by defeating the Badin Rams today at Northwest Lanes in Fairfield!
The lanes were a little tricky for the boys today and seemed flooded with the oil pattern, so major scores could be found. Except for Sophomore James Prater, who found his mark and rolled 2 nice games of 203 & 208! Senior Danny Temple stepped up his 2nd game and posted a 171, while Sophomore Matthew Minor bowled a 158, and Sophomore Jacob Cowgill threw a 154! The boys were down by 33 pins going into the 2nd game, when we made some adjustments to get to the Baker round up by 169 pins. There, the team came together for a very nice 212 game and finished with a 162! Nice job guys!
The JV squad also won their match today by winning a close one by just 90 pins, with totals of 1849 to 1759! Sophomore Austin Smith led the squad today with a 170 and very nice 198 game! Sophomore Nathan Weiland had 2 pretty good games himself as he threw games of 157 & 176! Freshman Tyler Jurmu shot one of his high games of the season with a nice 155, while Freshman Luke Lawson posted a 140 game! The boys only got to bowl 2 Baker games, but had 2 very nice ones with scores of 181 & 177! Great job boys!
Great job Middies!
