News · Middies’ Volleyball for a Cure Game Wed 9/19 vs. Shroder; Get your VFC Gear Today!

My name is Whitney Wilke and I am the head coach of the MHS Volleyball program.  I wanted to invite each of you and your families to our Volley for a Cure Event on September 19th in the Miller Arena.  Our athletic boosters will be holding a tailgate party from 4-5pm with games starting at 530p-730p.  This is a wonderful event where we are able to give back to the community and support the Susan G Komen for a Cure foundation.  We will have split the pot, raffles, bake sale, and much more to get the crowd involved in this spectacular event.  We are bringing in multiple student groups such as Pep Band, Cheerleaders, Art Students, and Choir Department!
This is near and dear to my heart as my mother passed from breast cancer when I was 10 years old, your support means a lot to the team, and to me personally.  We are currently in our t-shirt selling competition where the players are tasked to raise $10,000 in t-shirt donations and one lucky student will be able to pie our Strength and Conditioning coach in the face if we reach this goal. With a purchase of a t-shirt anyone wearing it to the game can get admission for $1. If you are interested I can accept orders to Saturday 9/8, and can arrange payment with you directly.  Please reply only to me if you are interested!
To order: Contact Whitney Wilke wwilke@middletowncityschools.com
Again we hope to see you at the event on 9/19!  It is a lot of fun all for a great cause.  Thank you in advance for your support.
