Girls Varsity Bowling · Girls Varsity Bowling lose to Deer Park 1776-1762


The Middletown Girls Varsity Bowling team lost the 2nd match in a row by only 14 pins to the Deer Park Wilcats today at Brentwood Bowl.

Sophomore Emily Cupp threw the high game of the day with a nice 164! Freshman Laila Million had her highest game ever when she bowled a 151 game! Senior Faithlyn Israel also had a good game when she started the match with a 144 game!

The girls were leading the whole match until it cane to the Baker round. They started off with a nice 143 game, but then fell hard the next 2 games, and finished with a 146. The Wildcats were able to punch out 4 strikes in the 9th & 10th frames of the final game to take the win away from our Middies.

Great match today Ladies. It was a tough loss, but keep your heads up and let’s learn from our mistakes. We’ll get ’em next time!

Middletown is now 0-2 overall, and 0-1 in the GMC. Next up for the Middies is GMC opponent Sycamore on Thursday at Crossgate Lanes in Blue Ash.
