Boys Varsity Bowling · Boys Varsity Bowling beats Norwood 2684-2406!

The Middletown Boys Varsity Bowling team continued their winning streak by defeating the Norwood Indians at Stone Lanes in Cincinnati!

Even with the heavy rain and traffic delays getting to the bowling alley, that could not stop our Middies from ripping up the lanes to take out their opponent today. Sophomore Ethan Rowe tossed out the first 9 strikes in a row during his 1st game to finish with an amazing 278, and added a 179 to finish with a very nice 457 series, and 228.5 average! Awesome job! Junior Austin Smith turned in another great set for the 2nd day in a row when he threw a 175, but then burned the lanes up by rolling an awesome 266 game! Wow! Nothing was stopping Junior James Prater when he shot a very nice 212 game, while teammate and fellow Junior Jacob Cowgill bowled a nice 208! Awesome job guys!

The Baker round got off to a slow start the first game, but they found their marks again to rip off a 203, another awesome 243, and finished it with a 181 to win the match by 278 pins! Way to go!

Our JV Boys did not get to bowl in today’s match due to Norwood not having a JV squad this year.

Go Middies!

Middletown Varsity Boys are now 7-0 overall, and 3-0 in the GMC. The JV team remains at 3-1 overall.

From all of our bowlers, coaches, and bowling family, we’d like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! See you again at the Back 2 School Bash on Saturday, January 6th at the Game of Fairfield.
