The Middletown Boys Varsity Bowling team won their 3rd match this week by beating Lakota West at Gilmore Lanes!
The boys weren’t knocking them all down at first, but came back in game #2 and Bakers to take the win. Junior Matthew Minor started off slow with a 175, but kicked it up a few gears to punch out an amazing 246 game! Fellow Junior James Prater kept his scores close, averaging 206 with games of 208 & 204! Junior Austin Smith also started slow but turned it around to throw a very nice 225! Sophomore Ethan Rowe rolled 2 decent games also, a 175 & 182, while teammate and Junior Jacob Cowgill shot a 172!
The team ran the match from start to finish and had another great Baker set, shooting games of 210, 221, 192, & 181, for a 201 average! Awesome job!
The JV squad almost shot another team total of 2000, but still slammed their opponent to take another win by an incredible 624 pins! Final score was 1987-1363! Leading the team today was Freshman Dylan Wood bowling a very nice 192 and a 165, for a 178.5 average! Next in line was Sophomore Luke Lawson shooting a 154, followed by a nice 184 game! Sophomore Braeden Wills had another great day today after he rolled a nice 168 and then a 146 game, and Senior Saul Melendez-Castro had his best game of the season with a nice 151 game! Great job boys!
Middletown Varsity Boys are now 10-0 overall, and 4-0 in the GMC. The JV team takes their record to at 6-1 overall.
