Girls Varsity Bowling · Girls Varsity Bowling loses to Lakota West 2196-1804

The Middletown Girls Varsity Bowling team lost their match today against GMC opponent Lakota West at Gilmore Lanes.

The Firebirds are having one of their best seasons and bowling in their own house, had all that they needed to take down our Middies. High game of the day came from Sophomore Emily Cupp with an awesome 222 game! Freshman Rhianne Theiss had the high 2-game total on the team, which included games of 125 & 132! Junior Toni Mullins bowled a 134 and Senior Faithlyn Israel shot a 129!

The girls squad also had 2 Baker games that were 25 pins over their average, with scores of 155 & 151!

Way to go Middies!

Middletown Girls are now 5-4 overall, and drop to 1-3 in the GMC.

After a very long stretch of bowling, the team gets a much needed rest until next Wednesday, when they face another GMC opponent, the Fairfield Indians at home. Hope to see you there!
