Girls Varsity Bowling · Girls Varsity Bowling loses to Fairfield 1983-1580

The Middletown Girls Varsity Bowling team lost their match today against GMC opponent Fairfield at Eastern Lanes.

The Indians are one of the best teams in the GMC and showed why today. The girls kept up them the 1st game, having an above average first game team total, trailing by only 68 pins, but their opponent built their lead to stay out front. Sophomore Emily Cupp had another good day on the lanes, shooting a very nice 212, followed by a 163! Junior Toni Mullins bowled a 158 game in her set, with Senior Faithlyn Israel only 3 pins behind with a 155! And Freshman Rhianne Theiss rolled a 136!

The match was halted after 2 Baker games due to time restrictions at the bowling alley. Keep your heads up girls!

Middletown Girls are now 5-5 overall, and drop to 1-4 in the GMC.

The Lady Middies face Dayton Dunbar tomorrow at Capri Lanes in Kettering. The match starts later at 4:30pm. Hope to see you there!
