The Middletown Girls Varsity Bowling defeated GMC opponent Colerain today at Colerain Bowl in Cincinnati!
Sophomore Emily Cupp had the high series of the day, with scores of 151 & 175, for a 326 total! Senior Faithlyn Israel had her best 2-game series of the season, when she shot a very nice 180 game, and then a 139, for a 159.5 average, which is 25 pins above her average for the season so far! We would like to mention that Faithlyn’s 180 game is also her highest game EVER! Congrats! Freshman Rhianne Theiss had a pretty good day also, throwing a 141 & 168, which comes out to be 20 pins above her average/game! Great job! Junior Toni Mullins started with a 129, but then came storming back with a great 167 game! Fellow Freshman Emma Cox helped the team with the win by bowling a 135 & 137!
The girls were up by 77 pins heading into the Baker round, and held the lead to seal the win. They put together 2 nice games of 145 & 152, which are 20 pins over their team average for Baker games! Great job ladies! (We were stopped after 2 games due to time restrictions by the bowling alley).
Great job Middies!
Middletown Girls are now 7-5 overall, and go to 2-4 in the GMC.
The Lady Middies return to Eastern Lanes on Monday to face the Franklin Wildcats at home. Start time will be approximately 3:45pm. Hope to see you there!
