The Middletown Girls Varsity Bowling team lost their away match to the Harrison Wildcats today at Harrison Bowl.
Leading all scorers was Sophomore Emily Cupp, shooting a 162 & a 173 for her 2-game set! Junior Toni Mullins had her best 2-game set of the season with scores of 168 & 147! Senior Faithlyn Israel started off with a 134 and finished with a 152, and Freshman Rhianne Theiss threw a 146 game!
The girls were only down by 92 pins before starting the Baker round, and even putting up a few great scores of 160, 169, 121, & 149, they were not able to catch their opponent. The good news is that this was their highest total of the season! They keep getting better and better!
Great job Middies!
Middletown Girls’ record drops to 8-6 overall, and remains at 2-4 in the GMC.
Next up for the Lady Middies is a face-off with GMC opponent Lakota East, tomorrow at Mason Bowl. Start time will be approximately 4:00pm. Hope to see you there!
