The Middletown Boys Varsity Bowling team had a close call today, but was able to pull out the win against Hamilton at Eastern Lanes!

This ended up being a nailbiter from start to finish. The Middies struggled on their home lanes today, but was able to take the “W” by just 69 pins! Leading all scorers in today’s match was Senior Ethan Rowe, with 2 very nice games of 216 & 246! Senior Tyler Jurmu bowled really well today also shooting a 188 & a nice 205 game! Senior Luke Lawson posted an even 200, followed by a 176! Junior Dylan Wood had a great 2nd game score of 191, and Sophomore Tanner Back threw a 161!

The boys were only up by 51 pins going into the Baker round, so a little pressure was felt to try and hold on. Their opponents made 30 pins back when our team started with a 155, but we got some of it back with the next game of 213. They struggled in Game 3 by only shooting a 136, but came back strong to seal the win with a 184!
