Girls Varsity Bowling · Girls Varsity Bowling Loses to Hamilton 2454-2146

The Middletown Girls Varsity Bowling team lost to the #1 and undefeated team in the GMC, Hamilton today at Eastern Lanes.

The girls actually had a really good day, shooting their best 2 game series total and their overall match total of the season! They were only down by 8 pins after the 1st game, but fell further back after game #2. High series goes to Senior Emily Cupp, with a 322 series, that included a nice 184 game! Sophomore Audrey Fletcher started off with a nice game also, shooting a 179, and then had a 133! Sophomore Mary Fletcher was pretty consistent on the day when she threw a 158 & 149! Freshman Katlyn Boggs had one of her best days so far, rolling a 150 & a 146! Sophomore Autumn Collins bowled over her average also, with scores of 137 & 149! Great job ladies!

The team also bowled some pretty good, above average Baker games of 157, 181, 129, & 156! But Big Blue averaged 205 for their set that included games of 242 & 210. Hang in their girls!

Middletown Varsity Girls’ overall record is now 3-2, and also 3-2 in the GMC.

The Lady Middies hope to bounce back as they take on the Miamisburg Vikings this Thursday at Poelking South. Spectators are allowed, but are limited to 1 per bowler. If you can make it, we’d love to see you there! I know the bowlers would love to have some family behind them cheering them on! The match will start at 4:00pm.

GO MIDDIES!
