Middletown High School 1265th 1111

The Middletown Girls JV Bowling team beat Lakota East today at Eastern Lanes in their final match of the season, winning 1265-1111!

For the 2nd match in a row, their opponent was short a bowler, which is why the scores are a little lopsided, but that wasn’t going to stop our girls from bowling some good games and taking the win! High bowler for the JV squad was Freshman Keeghan Wills, with games of 107 & 139! Close behind her was Freshman Autumn Collins, who threw a 102 & a 130! And Freshman Adia Salome was the last teammate to break the 100-mark with a 113 game!

We’d like to take this time to let everyone know how impressed and proud we are of this team! All 8 girls are Freshman, and most of them are brand new bowlers! However, from a long season, a lot of practices, and tons of matches, we have seen a MAJOR improvement in the scores since day one! They also seem to have a great time together, enjoy cheering during the Baker rounds, and just plain have fun! They have learned so much and keep getting better and better! We all hope that they come back again next season , because we’d love to have them!

The JV Girls team finishes their season with an overall record of 4-6! Great job!

GO MIDDIES!
